Elena founded Pole Dancing School and is also its principal dance teacher and choreographer. She trained professionally in classical ballet from the age of 9 and has danced extensively for The National Ballet of Canada and the Bavarian State Opera House in Germany, as well as in numerous other theatre productions as a guest artist in both North America and Europe. Elena developed her passion for pole dancing after using it as her way back to fitness following a serious car accident. As a pole dancer and choreographer, she combines the elegance of classical ballet with extreme flexibility and acrobatic pole work; a combination that has won her awards at both national and international level, culminating in being crowned Miss Pole Dance World in 2005.
With over 16 years' experience as a professional dancer and over 10 years' experience in dance teaching disciplines, Elena's other qualifications include: certified Ishta yoga instructor (New York), member of the entertainment trade union Equity since 1995 (No. M00240415), board member of the Equity Pole Dance Working Party and the Choreographers' Committee, Level 3 member of the Register of Exercise Professionals (No. R0043384)
She was also the first officially appointed "Level 3 Pole Dancing Instructor" in the UK by Pole Dance Community, UK representative for the International Pole Federation (IPF) since 2006, European representative of the International Pole Fitness Federation (IPFF) since July 2011, Winner of "Pole Dance Instructor of the Year 2011" - by the International Pole Dance Fitness Association (IPDFA) as well as member of the International Dance Council (CID-UNESCO).
